Bestebroer had one of the best days we've seen from him. The Chilliwack product floated around the outfield with quiet confidence, pulling down 88. In the box, Bestebroer led the event in exit velocity at 97.3 mph with a smooth left-handed swing. Carter is an impactful player in the class of 2026 that we look forward to following for the remainder of his prep career.

We first saw gameplay of Bestebroer at the 15U Best of the West in Kamloops, and he's really come into his own. One of the top players in College Prep, he's physical and shows throughout his game. The bat is inconsistent at times, but there's clear leverage & carry (338 foot max) when he gets it right, running it up to a max exit velocity of 96.7, and an average velocity of 83.2. He's sure-handed in the OF with a mid-80s arm & simple movements.

Bestebroer quickly jumped on the scene following a strong showing at the Ray Carter Cup last summer and his physical development has allowed his overall game to continue trending upwards. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound left-handed hitter has flashed impact during the past and still looks to have plenty of room for added strength and further power. It’s a mid-80s arm in the outfield and average runner but the potential in the left-handed bat is what will draw coaches his way at the Future Games next month in Atlanta.

Bestebroer was a first time attendee who made his name known at this event. Plenty of line drives back up the middle coming from a smooth swing. The Chilliwack Cougars product will be a left-handed hitting athlete to follow this spring with his versatility in the box and in the field. A good balance of power and quickness with an exit velocity consistently in the high 80s, reaching a peak of 93mph. Bestebroer uses his lower-half well, keeps his hands connected and drives the ball gap-to-gap. Very intriguing prospect in BC’s 2026 class as he adds more size and strength.
