Raleigh Rising Stars ID: A First Step Into the Evaluation Process

The Raleigh Rising Stars ID was built as an introduction to the workout environment and pro-style evaluation process, giving young prospects an early look at how their tools translate through measurable data. Featuring members of the 2030 and 2031 graduating classes, the event offered a valuable learning opportunity while also giving scouts a glimpse of emerging talent across the state.

Hosted at Pro 3:5 Sports, the Rising Stars participants worked through the same pro-style format as the high school players at the Raleigh Preseason ID. Athletes went through athletic testing, defensive evaluations at their primary positions, batting practice with ball flight and swing data collected, and controlled bullpens for pitchers. Sharing the workout environment alongside high school players provided added exposure and a clear benchmark for development.

Beyond the metrics and leaderboards, the event served as an early checkpoint in each player’s long-term growth. For many, it was their first experience with advanced technology and structured evaluation settings — an important step in understanding how strength, speed, and skill translate to future levels.

In the coming days, we will highlight standout performances and begin identifying names from the 2030 and 2031 classes who are positioning themselves as future prospects to follow.
