Prep Baseball Alabama Staff

ALABAMA - Two weeks into the 2026 Alabama high school baseball season, the early landscape across the state continues to evolve as teams settle into the rhythm of the spring schedule. Opening Week provided the first meaningful benchmark, and another full slate of games across the second week has offered additional clarity across several classifications. While the sample size remains relatively small, early results have already begun to highlight teams building momentum and others navigating challenging schedules.

Throughout the past week, programs across the state faced a mix of tournament competition, non-area matchups, and early statement opportunities. Several teams continued strong starts with impressive wins against quality opponents, while others rebounded from Opening Week setbacks with productive performances. As the schedule begins to fill out, these results are helping establish an early pecking order in what remains a long and competitive season.

With that in mind, we present the updated Class 7A-1A Top 10 rankings entering Week 3 of the 2026 season. Below you’ll find the latest polls for each classification, along with teams on the bubble and weekly notes highlighting key results and notable developments from around the state.
