Mars Hill Bible (9) vs. Ariton (7)
Class 2A No. 1 Mars Hill Bible rallied late to defeat No. 2 Ariton, 9-7, on Saturday in a matchup of top-ranked teams. Trailing 5-1 early, the Panthers surged ahead with a six-run fifth inning highlighted by a two-run single from Brooks Campbell. After Ariton tied the game at 7-7 in the sixth, Malen Moore delivered the decisive blow in the seventh with a two-run single to put Mars Hill Bible back in front. The Panthers finished with 12 hits in the win, with Christian O’Rear, Noah Hanback, Moore, and Campbell each collecting two. Moore led the offense with two RBIs. Cody Willis earned the win in relief, allowing two runs over three innings. For Ariton, Easton Kilpatrick drove in two runs with a home run, while Conner Davidson and Brodie Lowery each recorded two hits.
 
Northside (8) vs. Tuscaloosa County (2)
Northside edged Oak Mountain 3-2 on Saturday behind a strong complete-game effort from Austin Kightlinger, who recorded pitched all eight innings while allowing two runs on six hits with five strikeouts. The Rams opened the scoring in the second on an RBI single from Will Skelton, while Oak Mountain answered in the third and took a 2-1 lead in the fifth behind two RBI singles from Xander Hughes. Northside evened the game in the sixth on a groundout from Griffin Roberts before pushing across the winning run later in the contest. Skelton, Brody Abernathy, Judd Sanford, and Kightlinger each collected a hit for Northside, while Hughes led Oak Mountain offensively with two RBIs and two hits.
 
Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa (3, 7) vs. Chelsea (1, 4)
Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa swept a doubleheader over Chelsea on Saturday, claiming a 3-1 win in Game 1 before taking the nightcap 7-4. In the opener, Wyatt Garner delivered a dominant performance on the mound, tossing a complete game while allowing one run on three hits with eight strikeouts. Hillcrest scored the game’s first run in the second inning after AC Patton drew a bases-loaded walk. Patton and Caden Herron each recorded a hit for the Patriots, while Chelsea managed three hits in the loss. Hillcrest carried that momentum into Game 2, overcoming an early deficit to secure the sweep. After Chelsea briefly took the lead in the middle innings, the Patriots surged ahead in the sixth with a four-run frame highlighted by RBI singles from Brooks Fowlkes and Harrison Colburn along with a pair of run-scoring plays. Peyton Rackard led Hillcrest offensively with a 3-for-4 performance, while Garner added two hits and several Patriots contributed RBIs. Colburn was sharp out of the bullpen, tossing three shutout innings with six strikeouts to close out the win.
 
Orange Beach (2) vs. The First Academy (1)
Orange Beach rallied late to earn a 2-1 win over The First Academy on Saturday, scoring both runs in the top of the seventh to take the lead for good. Trailing 1-0 entering the final inning, Carter Simmons delivered a two-run single to put the Makos in front. Orange Beach used a strong effort on the mound to secure the win, combining for a one-hitter while allowing just one run. Gentry Rogers earned the win in relief and Braden McCrory recorded the save. Colton Boyd, Brayden Hood, Tucker Peet, Simmons, and Ben Pugh each collected a hit for the Makos in the victory.
 
Mortimer Jordan (4, 11) vs. Springville (1, 10)
Mortimer Jordan continued their strong start to the season sweeping a doubleheader over Springville on Saturday, winning the opener 4-1 before walking it off in an 11-10 thriller in Game 2. In the first game, Mortimer Jordan broke a 1-1 tie with a three-run sixth inning to pull away. Cohen Thompson led the offense with a perfect 3-for-3 performance and an RBI, while the Blue Devils finished with 11 hits. Tanner Rice earned the win on the mound, allowing one run over six innings. Game 2 turned into a back-and-forth offensive battle as both teams totaled 15 hits. After Springville erased an early deficit and the teams traded runs throughout the middle innings, Mortimer Jordan tied the game at 10-10 in the sixth before Tyler Allen delivered the walk-off RBI single in the seventh. Nic Maldonado led the Blue Devils with four hits, while Thompson earned the win in relief.
 
Collinsville (9) vs. Lee-Scott Academy (4)
Collinsville defeated Lee-Scott Academy 9-4 on Saturday at River Run Park behind a big day from Gavin Lang, who drove in four runs on two hits, including a solo home run and a three-run double. After Lee-Scott struck first in the opening inning, Collinsville responded with three runs in the second to take the lead and never looked back. Lang added a solo homer in the third before delivering the key three-run double in the fourth to help extend the lead. Lang also earned the win on the mound, allowing four runs over 6.1 innings while striking out six. He and Jeremiah Killian each collected two hits for the Panthers, while Collinsville drew eight walks as a team. Ethan Hardee and Rylan Smith each drove in two runs for Lee-Scott Academy in the loss.
