Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2026 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public and private schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2026.

# 21 Georgetown Prep Hoyas   

The Hoyas are coming off their 6th consecutive IAC title and have been a mainstay at the top of the conference for some time now. 2026 will see a revamped roster following the departure of one of the state's deepest 2025 classes to graduation, and Coach Begin will need to lean on some guys to step up this spring. The pitching staff will be led by the conference's best from a statistical standpoint a year ago, and look for this "new-look" offense to provide a spark all year long.
