On March 1st, Prep Baseball Wisconsin hosted its latest event along the 2026 winter showcase circuit, the annual Green Bay Preseason ID took place at Impact Sports Academy in De Pere, WI. Over 120 players made it out to this event, providing us with updated looks and a new list of prospects to follow in an area of Wisconsin that regularly produces some of the state’s top talent.

At the plate, the right-handed hitter operates with a well-sequenced swing that is fast, and direct to the zone, allowing him to get through the baseball with authority and the batted-ball metrics translated directly to the data sheet, leading the entire event with a staggering max EV of 106 mph and an average EV of 96.8 mph, from a repeatable swing for the right-handed hitter pointing to a high-upside power profile. Defensively, the corner infielder shows confident hands with a soft, one-handed gather out front before cleanly shuffling toward his target. Throws across the infield were measured at 85 mph.

+ C Bryce Urban (Kaukauna, 2027) listed at a strong and athletic 5-foot-8, 164.7 pounds, impressed as one of the more exciting backstops in the state’s 2027 class. The right-handed hitter utilizes an upright and narrow setup with a strong back elbow, transitioning into a direct and that allows him to work on top of the baseball with feel to elevate, generating line drives through the middle of the field, driving balls at a strong 96 mph max exit velocity. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has quick hands that stay inside the baseball and the feel to elevate to the pullside. The right-handed hitter swings a fluid, clean and repeatable swing from a narrow and upright setup. He creates separation into his move, showing a direct path that flashed feel for the barrel. As a defender at third base, Adams fields with reliable hands, utilizing a two-hand gather into his body and playing through the ball with flashes of athleticism.

+ OF Mason Morfey (Iola-Scandinavia, 2029) 5-foot-11, 150-pound frame, the outfielder impressed on both sides of the ball. At the plate, the right-handed hitter starts in a closed setup, working with feel for the barrel spraying line drives to the entire field. He produced a max EV of 89 mph and an average EV of 83.7 mph during his round. + INF/RHP Aedan Waterstreet (Appleton North, 2027) Central Michigan commit, frame stands out, athletic build with significant strength currently present and more physical development to come. Left-handed hitter, employs a downhill, direct bat path that stays flat through the zone, twitchy hands, balls jumps off the barrel posting a 103 mph max EV and an 89.4 mph average EV. On the mound, the right-hander operates out of a high-tuck delivery with a loose, quick, and fluid three-quarter arm action. + OF/LHP Robert Perez II (Bay Port, 2029) listed at an athletic 5-foot-11, 155 pounds with plenty of room to add, already one of the top two-way prospects in the 2029 class, with an exciting and promising toolset. The left-handed hitter works in rhythm into his gather with a loose, fluid swing with twitch that works flat through the ball. Showing advanced bat speed and a feel for hitting to all fields and repeated hard contact to pair. In the outfield, his athleticism shines with an explosive first step, one-hand gather and a strong arm that delivered throws up to 89 mph, projecting well defensively across multiple positions, including the infield at first where he showed 85 mph velocity. On the mound, the southpaw works from a controlled, tall/fall delivery with a loose, medium draw arm action that releases from a 3/4 slot with clear arm speed out front. His fastball sat 82-84 mph, playing clean out of the hand with hard arm-side action. He pairs it with a firm, slurvy curveball at 72-74 mph that shows above-average spin, a firm 2/8 slider at 76-79 mph with hard lateral action, and a heavy fading changeup at 76-79 mph. Defensively, showing feel to field his position cleanly and showed a 86 mph infield velocity across the diamond. On the mound, he works from an easy, controlled delivery with a medium leg kick into a coiled balance point, utilizing a long, loose arm action from a high 3/4 slot with impressive arm speed out front. His fastball sat 85-86 mph, with over 15 inches of horizontal movement on average, with a four-seamer that's clean out of the hand with life, and a two-seamer featuring arm-side run. Defensively the actions behind the plate are athletic and advanced with quick and confident hands. His arm action is fluid from a 3/4 slot with easy actions reaching 72 mph on his firmest throw with 1.96-2.01 pops to pair, projecting well for the position.
