NOTABLE RECAPS FROM FRIDAY
#7 Lehi (11) vs. #4 Pleasant Grove (12)
⭐GAME OF THE DAY⭐
In a marathon thriller that pushed both squads to their absolute limits, Pleasant Grove outlasted the Lehi Pioneers for a spectacular 12–11 walk-off victory in 12 innings. This contest was a relentless back-and-forth affair that saw a staggering 35 combined strikeouts, and high-pressure moments in every extra frame. The Vikings found their hero in Tobin Degelbeck, who cleared the fences with a HR and finished with three hits, while Vake Wolfgramm added a triple and two RBIs to fuel the marathon effort. On the mound, Mason Henry provided a legendary relief performance, racking up 10 strikeouts over nearly six innings to keep the Pioneers at bay before Connor Ybarra closed the door to earn the win. Lehi's Kannon Whiteley turned in an incredible individual performance, launching a home run and driving in four runs at the plate while also starting the game on the bump. Despite Jake Welch’s valiant effort—striking out 12 over a massive 5.2 innings of relief—the Vikings’ depth and timely hitting in the 12th inning ultimately secured one of the most exciting wins of the season.

#2 Spanish Fork (7) vs. #11 Dixie (3)
Spanish Fork utilized the long ball and a dominant starting pitching performance to claim a 7–3 win over the Dixie Varsity Flyers. The Dons' offense was supercharged by Trigg Cloward and Matai Johnson, who both left the yard to drive in multiple runs. On the mound, Kayden Lambson was absolutely dealing, racking up a massive 16 strikeouts over six innings of work to dismantle the Flyers' lineup and earn the win. Dixie hung tough behind Weston Gilmore, who reached base safely in every plate appearance and drove in a run, but they couldn't find an answer for Lambson’s electric stuff. Jonny Mcguire turned in a solid six-inning shift for the Flyers with nine strikeouts of his own, but the timely power from Spanish Fork ultimately tilted the scales in a high-intensity battle between two perennial contenders.

#21 Provo (4) vs. #6 Snow Canyon (7)
The Snow Canyon Warriors displayed clinical execution and timely extra-base hitting to secure a 7–4 victory over the Provo Bulldogs. The Warriors' offense was highlighted by a balanced attack, featuring triples from Braden Mugavero and Milo Ence, while Logan Ross, PJ Hancock, and Trey Vaughn all connected for doubles to keep the pressure on. On the mound, Zach Beck delivered a focused five-inning performance to earn the win, striking out six and allowing only one earned run despite a persistent Provo lineup. The Bulldogs played with great heart and found plenty of offensive life through Taven Lancaster, who drove in two runs with a double, and Dawson Moore, who collected two hits. While Provo’s defensive poise kept the game within reach late, Snow Canyon’s ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities and their aggressive approach on the basepaths proved to be the difference-maker in this high-energy matchup.

Brighton (7) vs. #18 Jordan (6)
The Brighton Bengals capitalized on patient plate appearances and defensive miscues to edge out the Jordan Beetdiggers in a narrow 7–6 victory. In a game where every baserunner mattered, the Bengals were powered by Keeland Clark, who was a constant presence on the paths, finishing 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two walks. Dante Diorio also provided a crucial spark, driving in two runs to help keep Brighton out in front. On the mound, Broden Fry earned the win with three innings of relief, navigating a potent Jordan lineup and showing great focus under pressure. The Beetdiggers fought until the final out, led by a massive 3-for-3 performance from catcher Easton Wartman and steady production from Jayden Montoya. Despite out-hitting the Bengals 9 to 6, Jordan’s four defensive errors proved costly in this high-energy battle between two determined squads.

#21 Provo (5) vs. #22 Ridgeline (6)
The Ridgeline Riverhawks survived a marathon nine-inning battle to outlast Provo, securing a 6–5 victory in a game that tested the endurance of both dugouts. The Riverhawks' offensive effort was anchored by Easton Hammond, who went 3-for-5 to keep the chains moving, while Cole Christensen provided a spark with a double and two runs scored. Ridgeline's pitching staff combined for a collective effort to stifle a dangerous Provo lineup, culminating in Nate Dahle taking the mound for the final two-plus innings to earn the win with three strikeouts. Provo played with immense competitive spirit, led by Gehrig Orchard, who tallied three hits including a double, and Taven Lancaster, who accounted for two doubles. Despite out-hitting the Riverhawks 11 to 10 and receiving a five-inning start from Elijah Aulava, Provo's defensive miscues proved costly in the extra frames, allowing Ridgeline to escape with the hard-fought win.

Viewmont (7) vs. #11 Dixie (10)
The Dixie Varsity Flyers emerged victorious in a high-energy extra-innings battle, securing a 10–7 walk-off win over Viewmont. The Flyers' offense was powered by a spectacular performance from Carson Hunt, who blasted two home runs (including a walk-off GRAND SLAM) and accounted for six RBIs to lead the charge. Viewmont showed incredible heart and resilience, keeping the game tight behind Cash Stump, who connected for a home run and a double while driving in three. On the mound, Max Larkin provided a championship-level relief effort, striking out two in the final frame to earn the win, while Viewmont’s Jack Owen turned in a focused six-inning start with seven strikeouts. Despite the back-and-forth momentum and a strong offensive showing from Viewmont's Bode Peterson, Dixie’s ability to deliver in clutch moments allowed them to claim the hard-fought victory.
