2026 Arkansas Preseason All-State: Quick Hits

On Sunday, February 15 the Prep Baseball Arkansas Staff hosted our annual Arkansas Preseason All-State (Invite-Only) Event. This event consisted of 80+ players from around the state. All of our events offer players the opportunity to update their recruiting resume and showcase their talents in front of our staff. We also use these events as identifiers for future invite-only events, like our summer Top Prospect Games and the prestigious Prep Baseball Future Games that take place at the tail end of the summer. Today, we are taking a look at a few of the standouts from the day with scout notes and video below.


Position Players

Tanner Davison 3B / SS / Fayetteville, AR / 2027

Davison kicks off our list of standout player from the Preseason All-State Event. He comes in as a well-rounded and mature athlete with serious bat-to-ball skills. With his frame, Davison has the ability to create some serious power at the plate reaching a top exit velocity of 103.2 MPH. This infielder runs well for his size as he clocked in a 6.80 60-yard dash. Davison is a top ranked player thast conitnues to impress the more he is seen and is a name to watch in the spring season.

Rowan Selva OF / RHP / Little Rock Catholic, AR / 2028

This physical high school hitter profiles as a true power threat, already flashing advanced strength with a top exit velocity of 102.4 mph. He generates loud, consistent contact through a compact yet explosive swing, allowing him to drive the ball to all fields. His natural leverage and bat speed give him middle‑of‑the‑order upside, and continued refinement of pitch selection will only elevate his production. With his present tools and physicality, he projects as one of the more impactful power bats in his class.

Luke Edwards 1B / 3B / Pulaski Academy, AR / 2027

Left-handed hitting first baseman with a smooth and level swing through the zone to create consistent contact. Edwards' top exit velocity of 101.6 MPH lands at the number 4 spot from the event. He previously represented the state of Arkansas at Lakepoint for the Future's Games quickly making a name for himself. Look for Edwards to continue to make big steps in his game as he becomes a name to look for over the next couple of years.

Jarrett Hathcock C / 1B / Malvern, AR / 2027

Hathcock had an impressive showing from the event landing top spots in multiple categories. Defensivley, he showscases some solid glovework to go along with an accurate arm. At the plate, he brings an explosive uphill swing with serious juice as he reached a top exit velocity og 100.7 MPH. After this performance, Hathcock makes himself an uncommitted name to be on the look out for through his final two seasons in high school. 

Gabe Bledsoe OF / RHP / Batesville, AR / 2027

Bledsoe has quickly made a name for himself after previously attending our first South Arkansas Fall ID and showing out. He is a skillfull young player with a solid build at 6-foot, 188-pounds. Defensively he is as sound as they come from the outfield with a strong arm reaching 86 MPH. At the dish, he brings a simple swing that creates easy pop to the gaps reaching an exit velocity of 99.3 MPH. With a high ceiling, look for Bledsoe to continue to have success and turn heads throughout the spring season. 

Robert Hall OF / 1B / Marion, AR / 2026

Hall is no stranger to our events as he continues to impress and excel his game event-to-event. Coming in at a physical 6-foot-3-inches, 216-pounds he uses his strength to drive the pull hard to the pull-side. With a ton of untapped potential, look for Hall to continue to make strides to be a standout name in this years graduating class.

Logan English SS / RHP / Alma, AR / 2026

English has an impressive showing at our All-State event. From last we saw of him, Logan has made an impressive just in height by 7 inches and 40 pounds in weight. With the added leverage and strength, he was able to reach a top exit velocity of 97.7 MPH and velocity across the diamond at 87 MPH. English is the perfect example of mass=gas and should definitely be at the top of recruiting boards after his recent showing. 

Ryan Mullen OF / 2B / Little Rock Christian, AR / 2027

Mullen is as well-rounded as they come as the young outfielder impresses in all aspects of the game. At the conclusion of our event, he recorded our top 60 time of the day at an impressive 6.59. At the plate, he produces a cosinstent swing with a level bat path, giving him the ability to hit hard line-drives all over the yard and recorded a top exit velocity of 97.4 MPH. Mullen continues to improve his game and make a name for himself making him a name to follow thorughout the rest of his career.

Hazen Hutton 1B / 3B / Jacksonville, AR / 2028

Hutton features an uphill swing that generates effortless power, allowing him to consistently drive the ball with authority. His mechanics facilitate a smooth and powerful contact point, emphasizing his ability to produce line drives and home runs. With a top exit velocity of 97.2 mph, he demonstrates an impressive capability to impact the ball significantly. This combination of swing mechanics and raw power positions him as an exciting prospect with strong potential at the plate.

Preston Kendall C / OF / Fayetteville, AR / 2028

Comes in with a strong frame combined with excellent receiving skills, allowing him to effectively manage the pitching staff. His quick transfers contribute to impressive pop times ranging from 2.01 to 2.21 seconds, making him a formidable presence in controlling the running game. At the plate, he excels with a top exit velocity of 97.1 mph, showcasing his ability to drive the ball with power. This blend of defensive reliability and offensive potential makes him a highly valuable asset to any team.

Jace Dulaney C / 3B / Walnut Ridge, AR / 2028

This catcher stands out with a solid frame at 6 feet and 210 pounds, combining strength with athleticism that enhances his performance behind the plate. He showcases notable power at the plate, capable of driving the ball effectively and producing runs. In addition to his catching skills, he is versatile enough to play corner infield positions, demonstrating adaptability and reliability in various roles. This unique combination of power and defensive versatility makes him a valuable asset to any lineup.

Sawyer Pierce C / RHP / Southside (Fort Smith), AR / 2029

The young catcher impresses with a short and simple uphill swing, allowing for consistent contact and the potential for power development as he matures. His mechanics are built on a strong foundation, positioning him well for future growth and refinement in his game. With a keen understanding of hitting and solid receiving skills behind the plate, he demonstrates promise both offensively and defensively. This combination of a solid swing and a strong background makes him an exciting prospect for the future.

Sawyer Boone 3B / SS / Little Rock Christian, AR / 2029

Infielder that showcases a controlled swing from the left side, emphasizing consistency and precision at the plate. With an athletic frame, he combines agility and strength, enhancing his overall performance on the field. His solid defensive mechanics allow him to handle a variety of ground balls and make accurate throws from different angles. This blend of offensive skill and defensive reliability positions him as a promising prospect with the potential for continued development.

Cason Willing C / OF / Berryville, AR / 2028

The strong physical catcher features a slight uphill bat path that enables him to generate significant power at the plate, making him a consistent offensive threat. His imposing build enhances his ability to drive the ball, while his solid mechanics contribute to a potent offensive presence. Behind the dish, he boasts an accurate arm, allowing him to effectively control the running game and deliver precise throws. Dalton Boone OF / LHP / Little Rock Christian, AR / 2027

Kameron Davis OF / RHP / Jonesboro, AR / 2027

The talented athlete demonstrates plus speed on the basepaths, which not only enhances his base running but also allows him to cover significant ground in the outfield. His natural athleticism offers a glimpse into a wealth of untapped potential, making him a promising player with room for development. As he hones his skills, his combination of speed and defensive range positions him as a valuable asset on the field.

Luke Weatherley C / RHP / Jonesboro, AR / 2027

The top two-way player showcases a strong frame and impressive versatility, with the ability to run his fastball up to 90 mph on the mound. His pitching mechanics reflect both power and control, allowing him to dominate hitters effectively. At the plate, he employs a level swing that produces consistent pop, achieving a top exit velocity of 102.8 mph. Ty Tanksley RHP / 1B / Cabot, AR / 2028

Additionally, he has the ability to run his fastball up to 90 mph with ease, showcasing impressive arm strength and athleticism. Aden Bradicich RHP / Russellville, AR / 2028

Boasts a solid frame at 6 feet 2 inches and 193 pounds, showcasing an athletic build that enhances his performance. He runs the fastball up to 88 mph, demonstrating strong arm talent on the mound. Ronin Ketchum RHP / SS / Northside, AR / 2028

On the mound, he runs his fastball up to 83 mph, highlighting his arm strength and potential as a pitcher. Sawyer Wilson SS / RHP / Benton, AR / 2027

The two-way standout excels on both sides of the ball, showcasing impressive talent and versatility. He achieves a top exit velocity of 94.8 mph at the plate, demonstrating significant power and the ability to drive the ball. On the mound, he runs his fastball up to 90 mph with smooth mechanics, allowing for consistent delivery and control. Caleb Harrison RHP / 3B / Sylvan Hills, AR / 2026
