Risers

#6 Red Mountain

The Mountain Lions made the statement of the season this past Saturday, traveling to Opus Field and handing top-ranked Brophy Prep their first loss in a convincing 10-2 fashion. Led by Keith Price's 4-RBI day and Dylan Keith's poise on the mound, Red Mountain proved they could dismantle elite pitching. They jump seven spots and officially enter the Tier-1 conversation as the hottest team in 6A.

#5 Desert Vista

The Thunder continue their steady climb, moving up three spots after an impressive start to March. Now sitting at 10-1, Desert Vista has relied on a dominant pitching staff and a lineup that has shown high-level consistency in late-inning situations. They are establishing themselves as the "team to beat" in the 6A Central.

#8 Pinnacle

Pinnacle skyrocketed six spots this week after navigating a gauntlet of a schedule. The Pioneers secured a massive 10-9 victory over Red Mountain earlier in the week and followed it up with a dramatic 9-8 walk-off win against Centennial on Saturday. Erik Moo continues to be the catalyst for an offense that is currently firing on all cylinders.

Fallers

#14 Millennium

Despite a solid 5-2 record, the Tigers slide eight spots this week. This drop is less about Millennium’s play and more about the "Strength of Record" surges from teams like Pinnacle and Red Mountain, who picked up signature Top-10 wins over the weekend. Millennium remains a powerhouse, but the margin for error in the Top 15 is razor-thin.

#24 Desert Mountain

The Wolves take the week’s biggest tumble, sliding eight spots to #24. While the talent on the roster remains high-end, early-season consistency has been an issue compared to the surging programs in the 6A Premier and Central regions. They cling to a spot in the Top 25, but are officially on the bubble as we head into Week 3.

#11 Sahuarita

Despite an unblemished 8-0 record, Sahuarita slides four spots to #11. The Mustangs remain the undisputed gold standard for 4A, but the recent high-profile "grinder" matchups in the 6A division have allowed battle-tested programs to leapfrog them for the time being.

Newcomers

#9 Chandler

The Wolves crash into the Top 10 as the highest-rated newcomer. Proving they can survive and thrive in the 6A Premier—arguably the state's toughest region—Chandler has shown the pitching depth and offensive poise required to compete at the highest level. Their inclusion creates a three-headed monster at the top of the Premier standings.

#12 Desert Ridge

The Jaguars make their long-awaited debut in the Power 25 at #12. Utilizing an explosive offense and aggressive baserunning, Desert Ridge has looked like a different team in early March. They enter the 6A Fiesta race with significant momentum and a target on their backs.

#21 Crismon

The Rattlers enter the rankings at #21 after a dominant 10-1 start. Their ability to consistently put up double-digit runs has been the talk of the 4A landscape. By beating several high-level programs early on, Crismon has proven they belong in the conversation with the state’s elite.
