2026 KSHSAA Team Preview: Arkansas City Bulldogs

Prep Baseball Kansas Staff

The Kansas high school baseball season kicks off on Mar. 19, opening day for regular season action under KSHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2026 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Kansas Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Key Players Lost:

Coach’s Insight: “We return one of the top LHP in the area in Jordey Pierce (2nd team 5A all state) and our top 4 hitters from last year. We had a productive summer with several returners and incoming freshman to get them jumpstarted for this spring. Our underclassman are going to have to make a big jump in the spring with only 4 returning position players and 3 pitchers but there is a level of excitement with the freshman and sophomore class.” – Aaron Bucher, head coach
