2026 OUTLOOK

+ Halls enters the 2026 season riding the momentum of a 21–12 campaign that saw the Tigers capture a District 13 championship in Class 1A. Under head coach Hunter Dixon, Halls returns a productive core that drove last spring’s success, combining impact bats with reliable arms as the program looks to defend its district title and make another postseason push.

The offense is headlined by Jackson Booker (2027), a true middle-of-the-order presence who impacts the game on both sides of the ball. Booker hit .411 with a .545 on-base percentage a year ago, pairing that production with a 2.45 ERA and 56 strikeouts on the mound. His ability to anchor the lineup while serving as a frontline arm makes him one of the Tigers’ most valuable pieces entering the spring. Sawyer Tetleton (2028) adds another consistent bat, posting a .311 average and a .525 OBP while providing versatility across the field. Fellow underclassman Clyce Tetleton (2028) continues to emerge as a run producer, hitting .300 with a .505 OBP and driving in 29 runs, giving Halls another reliable option in key offensive spots.

Landon Pipkin brings additional two-way value to the roster, batting .300 last season while also logging meaningful innings on the mound with a 3.00 ERA and 44 strikeouts. His presence gives the Tigers flexibility both offensively and within the pitching staff. Cole Hicks (2026) is another returning outfielder to monitor as roles continue to solidify, offering depth and athleticism in the lineup.

On the mound, Halls returns multiple arms capable of handling innings throughout the spring. Booker and Pipkin headline the staff, while Luke Land and Kaden Olds provide additional options that allow the Tigers to mix matchups and manage workloads across a full schedule. The depth of the pitching staff will be a key factor as Halls looks to sustain consistency through district play and into the postseason.

The next wave of Tigers talent is already pushing forward, led by impact underclassmen Drake McGarrity (2029), Coy Williams (2029), and Jayden Booker (2029), while Sawyer and Clyce Tetleton continue to play significant roles despite their youth. This group adds athleticism and long-term upside to an already competitive roster.

With proven two-way performers, returning offensive production, and a pitching staff that brings back key contributors from a district championship team, Halls enters 2026 positioned as a strong contender in Class 1A. If the Tigers continue to get consistent production from their core while integrating their young talent, they have the pieces in place to make another deep postseason run.
