On Sunday February 8, 2026 our staff saw just under 50 players from across VA/DC at our only western region hosted event of the winter. We hosted two events at Powerhouse Training Facility in Lynchburg, VA, the Lynchburg Freshman Free Showcase and the Lynchburg Preseason ID. Today we begin to take a look at a few players that stood out in a few areas. Our superlatives list cover two different sets of players, pitchers and positional players. In total we look at eight categories for players, Fastball, Secondary Mix, Pitcher Projection, Raw Power, Run Tool, Athleticism, Hit Tool, and Defense. We have selected the players from each event that stood out in those respective categories.
