Super 60 Spotlight: Taylor Latham

The 2026 Prep Baseball Super 60 brought together some of the nation’s top high school talent, and Mississippi was well represented with two players earning an invitation to the prestigious showcase. Held annually as one of the premier preseason events in the country, the Super 60 gives elite prospects a chance to display their tools in front of pro scouts through a pro-style workout that includes, TrackMan data, Blast Motion metrics and defensive evaluations. From loud bats to electric arms, Mississippi's group made its presence felt, using the national stage to further elevate their profiles heading into the spring season.

Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 5-11, 178-pounds. Solid frame. Physical, present strength throughout.
Arm Action: RH. Controlled delivery with solid ride down mound. Good direction to plate. Repeatable.
FB: T90, 87-90 mph. Solid arm side run. Plus pitch. T2211, 2032 average rpm.
CB: 70-73 mph. Tight action with developing feel. T2691, 2601 average rpm.
CH: 76-79 mph. Spin is a little high though shows promise as quality pitch. T2233, 2100 average rpm.
ATH: 7.09 runner in the 60. 21.30 max vertical.

Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 5-11, 178-pounds. Solid frame. Physical, present strength throughout.
Hit: RHH. Wider stance with hand set pushed back slightly creating leverage. Conventional load and stride. Has some current pop with a middle to pull side approach. Fairly level bat path. 69.9 mph bat speed with 7 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 80.1 mph. 318' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-96 mph. Quick arm path.
Defense: Good footwork in the outfield. Fields ball out front to glove side. Very strong arm!
ATH: 7.09 runner in the 60. 21.30 max vertical.
