We continue our spring high school previews and projections with a look at 15 "Picks to Click" as we inch closer to the 2026 baseball season. Highlighted in these stories are players that we believe are in contention for "Player of the Year" or "Pitcher of the Year" and we will give a detailed analysis, including video on each. Without further ado, the next player we would like to highlight is West Virginia commit Colin Harrison from Mount St. Joe.

Leading one of the strongest pitching staffs in the MIAA, the WVU commit is poised for a huge 2026 spring with Mount St. Joe following a breakout 2025 campaign. Standing at a physical, 6-foot-1, 205 pounds, Harrison certainly possesses imposing characteristics on the bump, and the arsenal adds even more headaches for opposing hitters.

The fastball has ticked up in recent months, now sitting comfortably in the upper 80s/low 90s with more in the tank which could easily see the heater reach into the 92/93 range this spring. The feel and late life continue to increase, and coupled with one of the better sliders in the class makes for this to be a tough opposition every time he stands on the bump. Late, sharp action to the slider, and an improved late arm side fading changeup allows the fastball to play up even more and should see an increased number of freezes and whiffs in the zone. If Mount St. Joe wants to compete for a title this spring, look for Harrison to be one of the more dominant arms in the state.
