The 2026 high school baseball season is quickly approaching, and as usual, excitement abounds throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season, and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Florida.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in the FHSAA state championships, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. Today, we will continue to release our 2026 Preseason Power 25 Team Rankings. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with a new team each day.

The #19 Doral Academy Firebirds (Class 6A) enter the Preseason Power 25 as a South Florida contender reloaded with defensive prowess, strong pitching depth via transfers and returners, and a young but talented core after a solid 2025 campaign that saw them finish 26-8-1, claim the District 16 title, and push to the Regional Final (falling in Game 3 to St. Thomas Aquinas after a back-and-forth series).

2025 Recap: Posted a 26-8-1 overall record (strong home mark of 20-5-1), winning districts and making a deep playoff run—one win shy of states—in the Class 6A postseason. They advanced through regionals with wins like 6-5 over Braddock in semis before the tough exit to St. Thomas Aquinas in the final series.
