The 2026 high school baseball season is quickly approaching, and as usual, excitement abounds throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season, and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Florida.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in the FHSAA state championships, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. Today, we will continue to release our 2026 Preseason Power 25 Team Rankings. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with a new team each day.

The #21 Bishop Snyder Cardinals (Class 2A, Region 1) step into the Preseason Power 25 as a reloaded Jacksonville powerhouse with one of the most talented senior classes in program history, D1 pitching arms, a stacked infield, and fresh off a school-record 23-8 season in 2025 that set multiple individual marks before a tough Regional Semifinal exit.

2025 Recap: The Cardinals posted a program-best 23-8 record, advancing through the playoffs with a strong showing before falling in the Regional Semifinal series to Bozeman (lost Game 1 0-2, won Game 2 4-3 behind Cole Dennis' go-ahead RBI and solid pitching, then dropped the rubber match 0-3 on the road). Highlights included school records from Cody Boshell (9 HR) and Cole Dennis (37 RBI), plus a balanced attack with high team AVG (.376 leaders), OBP (.491 top), and strong defense.

Key Departures: Josh Murray (only graduating senior, key contributor with .294 AVG, 30 hits, 28 runs, 12 doubles).
