Gabriel Larocque C / OF / St. Charles College, ON / 2026Rankings StateRank: 13 / POS: 1
Gabe Larocque has (San Francisco commit) has long stood out in the 2026 class with his elite catch and throw, led by some athletic traits behind the plate and a strong arm (81mph). Very young for the class, recently turning 17-years-old, Larocque’s ability to control the run game is an integral part of his impact on the field and will quickly provide him with opportunities and looks at the collegiate level. Larocque is the top-ranked catcher in Ontario’s senior class. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-media-max-width="560"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">C Gabe Larocque<br>2026, <a href="https://twitter.com/voyageursPBLO?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@voyageursPBLO</a><br>5-11/180lbs<br><br>Larocque pops a 1.97 here to catch the runner attempting to steal 2nd.<br><br>The <a href="https://twitter.com/SFDonsBaseball?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@SFDonsBaseball</a> commit continues to profile as one of 🇨🇦’s top backstops. <a href="https://twitter.com/GabrielLarocq14?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@GabrielLarocq14</a> | <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/BeSeen?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#BeSeen</a>🇨🇦 <a href="https://t.co/pnDgGBwi87">pic.twitter.com/pnDgGBwi87</a></p>— Prep Baseball Ontario (@PrepBaseballON) <a href="https://twitter.com/PrepBaseballON/status/1968356480333300006?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 17, 2025</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

Sean Bradley C / 1B / Neil McNeil, ON / 2026Rankings StateRank: 41 / POS: 3
Sean Bradley is one of just three catchers in Ontario’s senior class committed to a Division I program (Missouri State) and his catch/throw is carried by his arm strength at 79-84mph. Our last look at Bradley was at the Canadian Futures Showcase in Toronto where he posted consistent pop-times of 1.96 - 2.05 and accuracy around the bag can improve those numbers. A reclassed 2025 (18.11 y/o), the HPP prospect is the 3rd-ranked in Ontario’s 2026 class. |

Shayne Gagne C / OF / Tagwi SS, ON / 2027Rankings StateRank: 91 / POS: 6
Shayne Gagne, a product of the Ottawa Nepean Canadians, is one an under the radar catching prospect in Ontario and will be reclassifying to the 2027 class. Smaller stature behind the dish at 5-foot-9, 175-pounds but makes up for it with a quick catch and release. We’ve seen his arm strength peak at 78mph which is a 6mph bump from our first look at him in March 2024. Still uncommitted, schools looking to add a catcher to their 2027 recruiting class need to keep Gagne in mind. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-media-max-width="560"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">C/OF Shayne Gagne<br>2026/27, <a href="https://twitter.com/ONCBaseball?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@ONCBaseball</a> <br>5-9/175lbs<a href="https://twitter.com/PB_Uncommitted?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@PB_Uncommitted</a> <br><br>One of the top unsigned senior catchers in Ontario and is looking for opportunities as a 2027.<br><br>Gagne has developed well in all areas over the past two years and still has another 1.5 years before stepping on… <a href="https://t.co/shSAJH5qac">pic.twitter.com/shSAJH5qac</a></p>— Cam Black-Araujo (@CamAraujoBB) <a href="https://twitter.com/CamAraujoBB/status/2012199844366942616?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 16, 2026</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

Brandon Kedilerli C / OF / Bill Crothers Secondary School, ON / 2026Rankings StateRank: 120 / POS: 10
Brandon Kedilerli (uncommitted) work behind the dish drew praise throughout 2025 and filling out his 6-foot, 145-pound frame will only increase his production as a catcher. Beyond his quiet framing and strike stealing ability, Kedilerli has a quick transfer and arm strength up to 75mph, leading to pop-times in the 1.94 - 2.04 range. The defense carries the overall profile right now and it should have no issues translating to the collegiate level. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-media-max-width="560"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">𝐎𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰<br><br>C Brandon Kedilerli<br>2026, <a href="https://twitter.com/OntarioRoyals?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@OntarioRoyals</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/PB_Uncommitted?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@PB_Uncommitted</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/brandon_kedi?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@brandon_kedi</a> is expected back on the turf in roughly a month’s time at Future MVP Lab.<br><br>Lean 6-foot, 145-pound backstop who recorded pop times… <a href="https://t.co/Kb4zX2sxAL">pic.twitter.com/Kb4zX2sxAL</a></p>— Prep Baseball Ontario (@PrepBaseballON) <a href="https://twitter.com/PrepBaseballON/status/2011789711631675607?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 15, 2026</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

Evan Fornelli C / 1B / Northern, ON / 2026Rankings StateRank: 56 / POS: 4
Evan Fornelli (Bossier Parrish CC commit) caught our attention early on in high school, earning an invite to the Junior Future Games in 2023. The OBJ product has a presence behind the plate with an XL frame 6-foot-4, 230-pounds and while the offensive profile first catches your eye, there’s defensive value, as well. Fornelli was consistently around the bag at the Blue Jays Scout Day in March 2025 with pop-times in the 2.03 - 2.06 range with a 77mph arm. Heading to junior college in Louisiana, Fornelli should draw interest from Division I programs over his two years in the Bayou State. |

Evan York C / 1B / St David Catholic Secondary School, ON / 2026Rankings StateRank: 30 / POS: 2
Evan York (St. Joseph’s commit) is another player in Ontario’s senior class who stands out with his defensive abilities and he’s one of just three 2026 catchers in the province committed to a Division I program. York does a superb job handling pitchers, attacking hitters weaknesses and making in-game adjustments and utilizes his IQ to help control a run game. Large frame at 6-foot-5, 210-pound with more strength on the way and displays an accurate arm with pop-times ranging from 2.00 - 2.07 with a 75mph arm in September. It’s an intriguing overall profile from the Fieldhouse product as a switch-hitting catcher with size who understands the game well. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-media-max-width="560"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">C/1B Evan York<br>2026, <a href="https://twitter.com/FHPirates?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@FHPirates</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/SJUHawks_Base?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@SJUHawks_Base</a> commit<br>6-5/205 lbs.<br><br>York throws out a would-be base stealer in the morning game here in Toronto. <br><br>Pop ⏱️- 2.00 <a href="https://twitter.com/EvanYork74?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@EvanYork74</a> | <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/BeSeen?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#BeSeen</a>🇨🇦 <a href="https://t.co/MZ8pu8wj9h">pic.twitter.com/MZ8pu8wj9h</a></p>— Prep Baseball Ontario (@PrepBaseballON) <a href="https://twitter.com/PrepBaseballON/status/1968334418172645496?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 17, 2025</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
