2027 National Rankings Spotlight: Kyle Rogosienski

Wisconsin prospects have continued to gain national recognition in recent years. Following last month’s rankings update, 12 players from the Badger State 2027 class earned spots inside the national top-500. Today, we highlight the highest-ranked of the group, SS Kyle Rogosienski (Muskego, 2027).
Committed to Vanderbilt, Rogosienski represented Wisconsin at the 2025 Future Games this past summer at LakePoint in Georgia. The shortstop is ranked No. 1 in the state's 2027 class, No. 246 nationally, and the No. 53 ranked SS in the nation.

Future Games 2025: INF Kyle Rogosienski (Muskego) might take the prize as the most tooled-up player on this Wisconsin squad. Currently ranked No. 3 in the 2027 class, he stands in at 5-foot-11, 166-pound with his tools on full display throughout the showcase portion of the Future Games, registering a 6.59 60-time and a 95 mph INF velo during his defensive showing. There is a lot to like with his defensive profile as well, possessing a feel for range and smooth footwork while working towards the ball. At the plate, Rogosienski produced a max exit velocity of 95.5 mph during his round of BP. Hitting from the left side, Rogosienski has a strong ability to generate power from the lower half of his body and has a short, compact swing through the zone. He reached base six times throughout the weekend, with his strongest showing coming in Game 3, going 1-for-1 with a triple, two walks, and swiping a bag as well. There are plenty of tools within Rogosienski’s profile to get excited about, and he is a high-follow name to keep an eye on going forward.

It was the second fastest 60-yard dash of the day for Team Wisconsin. His balanced, compact and quick left handed swing produced line drive contact to all fields and was up to 95.5 mph max exit velocity. In the infield, Rogosienski unleashed throws in the mid 90’s throughout his round and topped out at 95 mph. The tooled up 2027 prospect continues to open up eyes on the national stage and is one of the most exciting prospects in the state.
Uncommitted, one of the top sophomores in the Midwest, standing at an athletic and twitchy 5-foot-11, 163 pounds with room to add to the frame. Started at shortstop and hit leadoff for Muskego, going 2-for-5, one hit came off of one of the top left-handers in the class, with three RBIs and a stolen base. At the plate, the left-handed hitter swings an upside bat with feel to go the other way. Defensively, Rogosienski is an athletic defender with range and arm strength to stick on the left-side.

Rogosienski has a 5-foot-11, 163 pound athletic frame and build with projection coming. He started his day by running an impressive 6.77 seconds 60 yard dash showing quick burst and fast turnover. The left handed swing produced some of the top exit velocities of the event. He has considerable strength in hands as he was hitting rockets through the gaps and was up to an impressive 95 mph max exit velocity. The middle infielder has incredible arm strength and showed it off by unleashing eye popping 95 mph rockets from shortstop during defense. Big things are coming for Rogosienski this spring and fall as he is just starting to scratch the surface.
