The 2026 Texas high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Texas.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in Austin at the UIL State Tournament in June, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Texas. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 30 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK

The Addison Trinity Christian Academy Trojans enter the 2026 season with a foundation of veteran leadership and a track record of deep postseason runs. Coming off a 17-15-2 campaign in 2025, the Trojans finished as district runners-up and regional finalists. Under the guidance of Head Coach Pat Leach, the 2023 State Champion and Coach of the Year with 87 career wins, the program remains a formidable contender in TAPPS Division 1, District 1.

The roster is anchored by six returning position players and a talented pitching staff that includes two returning starters and three relief options. Leading the charge are 2026 standouts LHP Ryan Janacek, a first-team all-district selection, and second-team all-district honorees 2B Beck Nelson and 3B Bo Sykes. Junior Caden Jobe also returns as an all-district first baseman, helping provide stability defensively.

While the program must replace key contributors like all-district shortstop Collin Hamilton and JoVahn Bernard (Southern Arkansas), a talented group of underclassmen is poised to fill those gaps. Newcomers Grant Daelke and Zach Zeleskey are among those expected to make an immediate impact. With additional freshmen like Henry French, Charlie Dennis, and Garrett Brown to follow, the Trojans possess the depth and maturity required to make another deep run in the postseason in 2026.
