2026 Super 60 Preview: RHP Gunnar Garrison (Eaton, CO)

The 24th annual Super 60 Pro Showcase is set to be held this Sunday, February 1st at The MAX in McCook, Illinois. The event is known to be the most heavily pro-scouted preseason event in the country, with a large crop of MLB Draft prospects from all over the United States.
The primary purpose of the Super 60 is to give professional area scouts, crosscheckers and scouting directors a head start to the high school season. The event is for draft-eligible Class of 2026 prospects.
At last year's event, OF/SS Trevor Gottsegen (Highlands Ranch HS) and RHP Vedant Sharma (Fossil Ridge HS) represented Colorado.

Gunnar Garrison RHP / 1B / Eaton, CO / 2026Garrison is another surging arm right now who has made a jump into the top 3 of the Colorado 2026 class rankings. The durable and strong frame at 6'5'' from Garrison presents a high ceiling, but he is also one of the top competitors on the mound within the state. Last spring, the Prep Baseball Colorado staff got a good look at Garrison's advancements as he tossed 6 innings with 8 Ks, 4 hits, zero earned runs, and registered a fastball up to 93 mph against the 2025 4A state champion Golden Demons. Garrison has now been seen up to 94 mph over summer and has since swapped his commitment from BYU to Arizona State. Garrison has already claimed two 3A state championships for his historic Eaton baseball program, and will certainly have a chance at a third this spring. Garrison carries himself with extreme confidence on the mound and has the ability to flip a switch come game-time. In the dugout, Garrison is one of the most supportive, loudest, and active teammates, embracing the game on nearly every level. The 2024 Future Games alumni is a nationally ranked pitching prospect who continues to get better each time we see him, and is looking to cement his name in 2026 with the likes of his past teammates in players like Walker Martin and Mitch Haythorn who have made massive impacts on previous Prep Baseball events.
