2026 OUTLOOK

+ St. Joseph Catholic enters the 2026 season looking to reset and build momentum after a 10–21 campaign in Class 5A. Under head coach Tanner Moulder, the Bruins return a versatile group of contributors with multi-position flexibility and two-way ability, giving the program a solid foundation as it works to take a step forward this spring.

The lineup is built around experience and adaptability, starting with Reid Hager (2026), a utility piece who impacts the game in a variety of ways. Hager’s ability to move around the diamond while also providing innings on the mound gives St. Joseph Catholic valuable roster flexibility. John Dean D’Antonio (2026) brings a similar profile, offering defensive versatility and two-way value, and projects as another key piece in both the everyday lineup and pitching staff.

Chad Davidson (2027, Jones College) provides a strong left-handed presence at the plate while also contributing as a left-handed arm. Capable of handling duties in the outfield or at first base, Davidson’s power potential and mound presence make him one of the Bruins’ most important returning pieces. Nick Glorioso (2027) adds further two-way depth, contributing behind the plate, at first base, and on the mound, while infielder Parker McKenzie (2027) brings steady infield play and continued offensive development to the core group.

On the pitching side, St. Joseph Catholic will lean heavily on Davidson, Hager, and D’Antonio to shoulder meaningful innings. That trio provides a mix of handedness and versatility, allowing the Bruins to navigate matchups while building consistency throughout the rotation.

The next wave of talent is highlighted by Vaughn Harris (2029), a young two-way infielder who adds long-term upside and athleticism to the program as he begins to work his way into varsity opportunities.

With multiple two-way contributors, positional flexibility across the roster, and a developing young core, St. Joseph Catholic enters 2026 focused on growth and progression in Class 5A. If the Bruins can establish consistency on the mound and get production from their returning bats, they have the pieces in place to make strides throughout the season.
