The 24th annual Super 60 Pro Showcase is set to be held this Sunday, February 1st at The MAX in McCook, Illinois. The event is known to be the most heavily pro-scouted preseason event in the country, with a large crop of MLB Draft prospects from all over the United States.

The primary purpose of the Super 60 is to give professional area scouts, crosscheckers and scouting directors a head start to the high school season. The event is for draft-eligible Class of 2026 prospects.

At last year's event, OF Braxton Van Cleave (Mansfield, 2025) represented the state of Texas well; tying for the sixth-fastest 60 for the event (6.50), reaching 89 mph from the outfield, while also putting together a loud round of BP (102.7 mph max EV) before heading to the University of Kentucky this past fall.

This year, the Longhorn State will be well-represented, featuring three of the state's premier prospects in attendance on Sunday.

TEXAS PROSPECTS SET TO ATTEND

Landon Brown RHP / Iowa Colony, TX / 2026

"Landon Brown is a large physical player with big time ability. He is a 94-97 arm with some pitchability. Repeatable delivery out of the stretch with good timing and rhythm. Landon also has the ability to change speeds off the 97 mph heater. His breaking ball sits 84-86 with a late and sharp break. Blending in a CH (86-87) gives Brown multiple weapons in his arsenal. Very elite arm. By the way, he's a pretty good hitter." - Kyle Kilgo, South Texas Area Scout

Spencer Browning SS / RHP / PLEASANT GROVE, TX / 2026

From 8/27/25: "Athletic, projectable frame. Sub-6.6 runner with smooth defensive actions, capable of making plays. Offensively shows an all-fields approach with developing power to the pull side. Projects as a complete SS. High follow for spring 2026."

Luke Tucker SS / 3B / Krum, TX / 2026

From 8/28/25: "Luke passes the eye test when you see him in uniform at 6’4 210. Will continue to add strength. Defensively has solid actions at SS, making plays on the move. Steady with glove, will play SS in HS, long term corner guy. LHH who shows feel to hit showing some power. Project power will continue to develop as he adds strength. Made the jump on the list with his performance this summer."
