The #14 Miami Springs Golden Hawks (Class 3A, Region 4) enter the Preseason Power 25 as the reigning FHSAA Class 3A state champions, fresh off a historic 28-3 season in 2025 that culminated in their first-ever state title. In the championship game, the Hawks stunned top-seeded and nationally ranked South Walton with a 2-1 victory in a pitcher's duel, capping a dominant postseason that included a 12-2 mercy-rule win over Bishop Verot in the semifinals. This marked the program's breakthrough after years of building, with strong preparation, depth, and defense carrying them through.
