2026 Northwest Arkansas Summer ID: Quick Hits

On Tuesday, July 7 the Prep Baseball Arkansas Staff hosted our Northwest Arkansas Summer ID at Har-Ber High School in Springdale. This event consisted of 64 players from around the state. All of our events offer players the opportunity to update their recruiting resume and showcase their talents in front of our staff. We also use these events as identifiers for future invite-only events, like and the prestigious Prep Baseball Future Games that take place at the tail end of the summer. Hunter Arebalo LHP / OF / Har-Ber, AR / 2028

Two-way player with tons of athletic capability. On the mound, he ran his velocity up to 85.8 from the left side, showing he can compete and create swings. From the outfield, he reached up to 88, adding real arm strength and range to his defensive profile. At the plate, he produced a top exit velocity of 98.2 mph, proving his bat plays too.

Carter Koch 3B / RHP / Greenwood, AR / 2028

Athletic player with a simple swing in the box that allows him to make consistent contact. At the plate, he flashed impact with a top exit velocity of 97.7 mph. On the mound, he has easy mechanics and showed fastball velocity up to 83, with more in the tank as he continues to develop. Overall, he’s a two-way talent trending upward.

Eli Winant RHP / OF / Shiloh Christian, AR / 2029

Young player with twitchy mechanics around the diamond and a strong foundation to build off of. On the mound, he reached up to 82, showing his ability to create quality action and compete. Defensively, he also displayed impact from the outfield, up to 84, reinforcing his athletic tools. Overall, he has the early skills and upside to keep trending upward.

Jacob Maynard 3B / 1B / Shiloh Christian, AR / 2027

Strong, physical player with tons of juice at the plate. His swing translates into loud contact, highlighted by a top exit velocity of 103.6 mph. Overall, he brings a mature and confident presence in the box, consistently showing the mindset and control to do damage when he gets his pitch.

Ty Holt C / 2B / Greenwood, AR / 2027

The top-ranked uncommitted player in the 2027 class, and it starts with elite defensive skills behind the plate. He has top-notch feel for the game, controlling the tempo and making life difficult for baserunners. His pop time ranged from 1.89 to 1.99, and he also showed dynamic athletic actions in the infield with pop-off ability. At the plate, he delivered impact with a top exit velocity of 100 mph.

Sawyer Pierce C / RHP / Southside (Fort Smith), AR / 2029

Pierce is a player who showcases a level swing through the zone and the ability to leave the yard when he’s on time. Behind the plate, he displays solid defensive capabilities with a 1.96–2.12 pop time, showing quick transfers and strong release. Offensively, he posted a top exit velocity of 95.9 mph. He also has the potential to impact the game on the mound as well, adding true two-way upside.

Yurgis Bacallao Jr 1B / 3B / Rogers Heritage, AR / 2028

He’s a physical athlete who shows real power at the plate through a strong uphill swing. That approach helped him post a top exit velocity of 95 mph. With continued development and some fine-tuning over the years, he has the potential to grow into an even bigger threat.

Seth Robinson SS / RHP / Springdale, AR / 2029

All-around talent who shows a short, quick arm action off the mound. Defensively, he has athletic instincts and showed arm strength up to 85 across the infield. At the plate, he swings slightly uphill and produced a top exit velocity of 94.8 mph. With added strength in the future, there’s clear room for growth and even more impact.

Will Daniel OF / Har-Ber, AR / 2027

Quick-twitch athlete who ran a 6.72 60, showing the speed to apply pressure on the bases and in the field. Defensively, he reached up to 81 from the outfield, highlighting his arm strength and ability to make plays from distance. At the plate, he stayed on plane and produced consistent impact, posting a top exit velocity of 93 mph. Overall, he’s a fast, athletic profile with tools that translate to both offense and defense.
