Arizona State Games
August 7–9, 2026 | Arizona Athletic Grounds | Mesa, AZ
The inaugural 2026 Arizona State Games brought together 175 players from across the state for three days at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa. The invite-only event featured prospects from the 2027–2031 classes, bringing many of Arizona’s top players and emerging names together in one setting for a full weekend of games.
The State Games served as a culmination of Prep Baseball Arizona’s coverage throughout the preseason, high school spring, and summer circuit. Rosters were built with players who earned their way into the event through performances throughout the year, including standouts from Prep Baseball showcases, the high school season, and the summer circuit. The field also included players who represented Arizona at several of Prep Baseball’s premier national and regional events, including the Future Games, Senior Future Games, Junior Future Games, and West Coast Games.
Position players opened the weekend with a full pro-style workout, collecting updated data, video, and analytics through athletic testing, batting practice, and defensive evaluations. The event then transitioned into two days of game action, giving our staff and scouts in attendance an opportunity to evaluate players in a competitive setting.
Following three days of workouts and game action, our scouting staff identified 40 players who made an impact throughout the inaugural event. Selections took into account overall tools and workout performance, while placing an emphasis on what players showed once the games began.
Below, we take a closer look at the 40 standouts from the 2026 Arizona State Games, broken down by position and graduation year.
