Prep Baseball Dakotas Rankings Insider: Class of 2028 (August 2026 Update)

The top player in the Dakotas is down with injury currently. In the spring he had ease to the operation on the mound with a frame that projects. Easy velocity with more in the tank. 

The sophomore had claimed the North Dakota Class B state title before lighting up the mound at the Top Prospect Games. In game action, Omdahl was competitive around the zone with 3 pitches. Both offspeed pitches show above average shapes.

Schrum collected a multiple of barrels at the Prep Baseball Future Games, showing the ability to square up higher level pitching. Schrum impressed our staff and was an obvious leader on his Post 2 Legion Squad.

Dangerud showed his ability to put together professional at-bats at the Future Games. Collected muitiple hits and hard contact. Showed higher level defensive actions at first base as well. A frame that has plenty of room for more, some twitch to his game.
