TEAM OUTLOOK

Roseville enters the 2026 season coming off a strong 23–12 campaign, with head coach Elijah Garcia returning a veteran group built around pitching depth and a well-established team culture. With nine returning starters and six returning pitchers, the Tigers should field one of the more experienced rosters in the area. Looking to build off a CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division 4 Championship, Roseville looks primed to be a consistent threat throughout league play.

The senior class forms the backbone of the roster. Behind the plate, C Devin Johnson (2026) will handle the seasoned pitching staff while OF Jacob Welch (2026) and OF/RHP Austin Chang (2026) provide a consistent presence in the outfield. On the mound, the Tigers boast a pair of commits in UC Davis commit RHP/INF Tyler Ritter (2026) and Vanderbilt commit RHP/1B Ethan Gustus (2027). They are joined by LHP Dustin Holcomb (2026), 1B/RHP Colton Wolfe (2026), and Chang to form a deep, senior-led pitching staff capable of handling both starting and relief roles. In the infield, INF Justin Fischer (2026) brings experience, and INF/RHP Preston Cubbler (2027) adds another two-way talent that should factor into key situations.

The program’s future is also well represented. Underclassmen INF Benjamin Jordan (2028), UTIL Brett Reager (2029), and INF/RHP Blake Connors (2029) add developmental depth and athletic upside. With a strong culture, a seasoned core, and multiple arms capable of going deep into games, Roseville has the pieces to make another deep run and continue establishing itself as a program built to compete every spring.

Quote from the Coach

“We’re looking to improve on little things from last year; a better team offense and pick up where we left off on the mound.”
