Saw 11 PA’s as a freshman and looks to add more contributions as a sophomore for the 2A State Champions. Kanon has attended a couple of events as he plays for CBA Summit in the summer/fall. A long lanky athlete with long legs and a thinner frame. Kanon has a projectable athletic build and just needs to make the gym and strength training his friend. A good 15 Lbs over the next year would aid in his development tremendously! A smoother stroke to hit is an asset right now, though he can get uphill and loopy, resulting in off line paths to the baseball at contact. There is hand speed to the initial approach to the ball and flashes some bat speed to indicate as he continues to get stronger the ball will exit his bat with more exit speed. The blast numbers indicate a higher EV should be there as he gets stronger and continues to fill out. The feet work in the OF on approach to the ball and fields out front on his left foot out front, which gets his lower body synced up to throw. The arm is clean and over the top with fair accuracy. The arm will improve along with the rest of his game as he matures physically.
