Another senior that had a strong day on the leaderboard was Caleb Paquette. The wiry 5-foot-10, 150-pounder reached a max exit velocity of 96.8. In spite of cutting himself off at the end of his swing, he was able to generate enough torque early. There's some development needed in the swing, but Paquette makes it work. With some added strength, he could make some jumps.

A 2025 RHP/SS out of AHP Academy, Paquette showed well on the mound with a good three pitch mix and a quick arm. His fastball sat 81-83 mph, showed the ability to locate it for strikes, and can spin it north of 2200 rpm. His changeup sits in the 75-77 mph range and has plenty of arm side run to it. The curveball sits 70-73 mph and has a sharp downward break with a spin rate at 2400+ RPM. With three velocity bands, Paquette will be a talent to watch on the mound this upcoming season as the stuff continues to develop.
