A high-spin arm who's done nothing but get better over the years, the former Bantam Player of the Year had a really good day. Now standing 6-foot-4, 200-pounds, Tocheniuk is an easy mover with simple mechanics. Kong in the back, he gets way down the mound, living 88-89 mph while touching 90.1 - the best fastball we've seen from him to date. The Panola commit also did good work keeping his curveball down (2850+ RPM) while locating an arm-side changeup at a steady 84 mph. Overall strong day for Tocheniuk, who looks just right headed into his senior year with the Dawgs.
