One of the more interesting players is 2026 Sam Davis. The height stands out at 6-foot-6, 200-pounds, and he puts it together well at the plate. He had a good day - The swing is easy and stays through the zone well, and he makes the most of his 91.4 peak velocity by hitting the sweet spot 70% of the time. A good follow going into the Spring.

One of the more intriguing 2026s in the province is LHP/1B Samuel Davis. He has long levers and a projectable frame at 6-foot-5, 180-pounds. He runs the fastball up to 79 mph and showed the ability to locate it for strikes. He kills induced vertical break (IVB) on the sinker making it effective along with the fastball at 76-78 mph. The curveball has tight/late break that he located consistently at the bottom of the zone. He got up to 91.4 mph during BP and elevated to his pull-side gap with regularity. As Davis continues to develop and add strength to his frame, he will continue to be one of the top 2026s in the province.
