Jorgensen competed well as one of the younger attendees at Edmonton FGT. A product of Black Gold 47s, the 2029 graduate had a strong overall showing. At the plate he's got a good, quiet swing. His hand start in a strong loaded position, using a slight leg lift as his timing mechanism. A good swing through the ball, Jorgensen reached a peak exit velocity of 79.3 mph. Defensively he's got good actions in the infield, has good glove presentation, while using his lower-half well on his throws, reaching a max velocity of 70 mph across the diamond. On the mound he uses a three-pitch mix, living mostly down with all his pitches. The fastball ranged 65-68, his curveball missed arm-side a bit, but there was shape, while mixing in a developing changeup. Interesting follow in the 2029 class as Jorgensen continues to develop.
