5-foot-9, 170-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, Strope had a max exit velocity of 85 mph. Began in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled stride before his swing. Bat speed was efficient, had simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Athletic in the infield, displayed a velocity of 70 mph; shows soft hands, a quick exchange and athletic feet. Used a quick arm action with a ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Versatile infielder that can really hit, producing consistent line drives during his BP round.
