5-foot-8, 165-pound projectable frame. Recorded a time of 7.79 in the 60-yard dash. Started in an active stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride to initiate his swing. Bat speed is some, exhibits rotational swing plane and a back foot finish. Was able to create some loud contact and found some barrels. Royer recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 66 mph; had a clean exchange and developing footwork. Using a loose arm action, showed some accuracy to the base from an-over-the-top slot.
