Uncommitted. McClure was a must-see on Thursday night of NPI. Exuding confidence on the bump. The right-handed pitcher was dominant from the jump, racking up the whiffs and having hitters off-balance. Loose actions on the mound with the ability to go to any pitch in any count. The three-pitch arsenal was working all night. With the fastball sitting at 85-87 topping at 88 with late-life. The change-up was tunneled off the fastball at 78-79 with late-drop. This fastball/change-up combination racked up several whiffs. Also mixed in a CB at 68-71. Finishing with a final line of 6 IP/ 2H/ 1 ER/ 8 K’s. Will be an intriguing name to watch in the 2026 class.
