(65.04 mph bat speed average). (19.46 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a compact smooth load, then used a short closed stride. Has average efficient bat speed, short simple swing plane and level good extension on his finish. He barreled up multiple balls with some loud contact. Gap to gap line drive approach. Athletic capable from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 75 mph; showed soft sure hands, a quick fluid exchange, and athletic consistent feet. Fielded the ball to the side one hand with athletic movement laterally. Using a quick compact arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the bag from uninterrupted slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.12 at the event. Fluid projectable on the mound, showed quick consistent arm speed, also used an over-the-top arm angle with a clean quick arm action. Feel up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed athletic balance point and in line shoulders. Lands square and soft with an athletic balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 73-75 mph; shows control arm side down in the zone and running action. (Max spin 2146; Avg 1979).
