Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 5-10, 168-pounds.
Delivery: Works from both the windup and stretch with a slow, controlled tempo. Starts square to the dish and comes to a clean balance point on the leg lift with the hands set around the midsection. Hands break with the leg drive, allowing him to stay in rhythm and time things up well. Athletic mover overall with the ability to slide step and control the running game. Head stays mostly on line, though it will occasionally drift toward the first base side.
Arm Action: RH. Quick, shorter arm action with a 3/4 to high 3/4 slot. Arm works clean and efficiently with good timing to the lower half, allowing him to repeat his release when he stays on line.
FB: T84, 82-84 mph. Plays with ride through the zone and works best at the top of the strike zone. Shows some life and can miss barrels when he stays tall and finishes toward the plate, though command within the zone will be important moving forward. T2084, 1935 average rpm.
CB: 65-68 mph. Shows true depth with a more vertical breaking shape. Can be landed in the zone and gives him a change of eye level option, especially effective when thrown with conviction. T2133, 2005 average rpm.
SL: 67-70 mph. Works more side to side and can create uncomfortable swings, but consistency will determine how often it plays as a true out pitch. T2030, 2002 average rpm.
CH: 72-76 mph. Plays with good separation off the fastball and similar movement traits. Shows late fade and depth, allowing it to be effective against opposite handed hitters when located down in the zone. T1915, 1797 average rpm.
ATH: 7.47 runner in the 60. 1.74 and 4.07 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 5-10, 168-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Sets up in an open stance with the feet set even with the top of the shoulder and the hands held close to the body. Look is balanced and controlled pre pitch, giving him a consistent starting position to get into his move. Uses a toe tap to get into the stride and finishes balanced and even. Hands will work around the ball at times, leading to a pull side approach. Swing path is flat to slightly uphill with some use of the lower half, producing firm contact when he stays through the baseball. 60.7 mph bat speed with 7 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 76.8 mph. 345' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-79 mph. OF-88 mph. INF: Shows some arm strength with carry across the diamond, but a long arm action and extended transfer time limit how quickly the ball gets out. Arm plays better when he has time to set his feet. OF: Shows strong arm strength with the ability to keep throws low and accurate. Ball comes out clean and plays well to the target without needing extra effort.
Defense: INF: Will take extra steps after fielding the ball, slowing the overall process. Actions are playable, but tightening up the transfer and footwork will help him improve efficiency and range moving forward. OF: Shows decent footwork with fluid movement working toward the target. Actions are controlled and allow him to get into good throwing positions consistently.
ATH: 7.47 runner in the 60. 1.74 and 4.07 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.
Vizual Edge: 59.18 Edge Score
