Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-2, 150-pounds.
Delivery: Uses small steps and stays under control while working with a quicker tempo. Hands start low and the shoulders remain relaxed as he gets into his move. Shows solid use of the lower half when driving down the hill which helps him stay on direction.
Arm Action: RH. Loose and whippy arm that works from a high three quarter slot. The arm carries good life through release and finishes with healthy deceleration. Stays on line and keeps the chin locked on target which helps the timing hold together.
FB: T88, 87-88 mph. Fastball carries well with some late life at the top of the zone. Shows arm side movement and he fills the zone at a strong rate, giving it a reliable feel. T2259, 2241 average rpm.
SL: 76-78 mph. T2379, 2324 average rpm.
CH: 78-80 mph. T2433, 2356 average rpm.
6-foot-2, 150-pounds, thin athletic build, plenty of room to hold more weight. Worked out as a two-way player. Right-handed hitter, sets up in a squared upright base with narrow stance, uses direct forward move. Starts with slightly lower handset, loading back with vertical barrel. Handsy swing with some length to contact, keeps hands tight on body with high finish. Middle of the field approach. Bat speed should get better with added strength & maturity, 79.71mph exit velocity via Trackman. Quick athletic footwork in the infield, plays faster than 8.01 60-yard dash would suggest. Lengthy body gives some extra range. Plays through the ball with confident glove. Showed the ability to throw from different arm slots with short loose arm, 77mph arm strength. Also worked out on the mound. Clean athletic delivery, lands slightly across body, early forward trunk tilt with limited front leg block. Throws from a L3/4, sidearm slot with short arm action, varies the release point. FB showed slightly above average sink/run 80-83, topping out at 84.08mph via Trackman. Solid feel for two breaking balls with natural glove side movement. CH also showed good potential with side spin creating some sinking action at 69-72mph.
