Positional Profile: 2B/SS
Body: 5-9, 160-pounds.
Delivery: From the windup, feet start pointed toward home with small steps that stay within his frame. Hands begin low at the belt and rise to the lower chest with the leg lift. Front leg swings up without reaching a true balance point. Hand break leads with the elbow and shows some swim as the ball works up near the top of the head before release. Overall delivery looks stiff at times with limited lower half involvement. From the stretch, feet come set closed with little space. Hands again start at the belt and lift to the chest with the leg lift. Lower half usage remains minimal, but he shows decent balance after release.
Arm Action: RH. Longer arm action that works from a three quarter slot with some quickness. Arm gets up on time and generally works clean through release. Shows signs of healthy deceleration, with only occasional recoil.
FB: T77, 73-76 mph. Fastball plays fairly true with limited movement. T1784, 1641 average rpm.
CB: 64-68 mph. Curveball shows loose shape with minimal depth and sweep. T1655, 1493 average rpm.
CH: 66-68 mph. Changeup plays fairly straight with modest drop. T972, 881 average rpm.
ATH: 8.00 runner in the 60. 1.88 and 4.39 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 15.40 max vertical.
Positional Profile: 2B/SS
Body: 5-9, 160-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Feet set even with the shoulders in a slightly open stance. Hands start even with the shoulder line and work back into a serviceable launch position. Setup is fairly simple and controlled, but the lower half stays quiet and does not consistently get involved in the move forward. Tends to remain on the back side through the swing, which limits momentum and separation into contact. Longer swing that works around the ball, creating a flat to slightly uphill bat path. Because the lower half does not consistently help deliver the barrel, the swing can get lengthy and lead to self induced jam contact, especially on inner half pitches. When timed correctly, the barrel can stay in the zone, but tightening the path and learning to better use the lower half would allow the bat to work more directly through contact and improve consistency against velocity. 59.9 mph bat speed with 17 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 82 max exit velocity, averaged 73.4 mph. 298' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-72 mph. Arm shows minimal carry and a shorter arm action, often slinging the ball across his body. Exchange is decent, and he shows the ability to throw from multiple arm slots. While the arm is not overly dynamic, the flexibility in angles allows him to make throws work across different situations.
Defense: Works to field the ball out in front and shows awareness through the fielding process. Overall pace can be a bit slower, but actions are controlled and he shows the ability to complete plays consistently. Exchanges are serviceable and allow him to keep the play moving.
ATH: 8.00 runner in the 60. 1.88 and 4.39 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 15.40 max vertical.
Vizual Edge: 45.34 Edge Score
