10/10/18 - Listed 5-foot-11, 195- pound muscular frame; well-built with advanced hand/forearm strength. Registered 6.96 second 60-yard dash and has previously turned in more elite times. Strength in swing with early hand load to trigger; 90 mph exit velocity. Lifts leg slightly, without gaining much ground, and is now hitting from a slightly narrower base that we saw this summer. Takes short, choppy steps, but field ball with confidence and released 85 mph throws from high slot quickly. Hedalen impressed with at least top 10 stats in all categories; 60-yard, throwing velocity, exit velocity.
6/27/18 - 5-foot-10, 180-pound. Strong, athletic build. Fast twitch type athlete. Shoulders angled down in stance at the plate. Shifted weight forward then backward during load. Two-piece hand load movement, loads hands deep, small leg kick trigger. Flashed some quickness of the hands and bat speed when synched up; 81 mph exit velocity. Quick twitch actions of the infield. Moved aggressively to the ball to both sides. Could play lighter on the balls of his feet. Strong throws across the diamond, plays with energy. Hedalen also turned in one of the better 60-yard dash times, surprising with a 6.63, which should be enough for someone to take a shot at him.
