Hit: RHH. Open stance that stays open through the move forward. Hands have space to work, allowing him to get into launch without feeling rushed. Shows a balanced setup overall with decent use of the lower half and the ability to stay under control for most swings. Flatter bat path that works through the zone with a middle of the field oriented approach. At times the swing will work around the ball, pulling the barrel off line, but the quickness in the hands allows him to recover and still find the barrel. When he stays more direct, the swing plays with consistency and solid contact quality.
Power: 98 max exit velocity, averaged 88.4 mph. 352' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-66 mph. Arm shows minimal carry but stays clean out of the hand with no arm side run. Throws show true four seam rotation to second base, allowing accuracy to play despite limited carry. Improving foot speed and staying lower through release would help the arm play more efficiently.
Defense: 2.24-2.41 pop times. Works from a two feet stance with a longer exchange time. Footwork is slower with bigger steps, which can lengthen the overall sequence. Transfers the ball down before release and will stand tall through the throw, limiting momentum moving toward the target.
