Body: 6-2, 235-pounds.
Delivery: From the windup, feet start even and pointed toward home. Uses small steps and stays within his frame while working with tempo. Glove stays centered at the chest and the leg lift works out away from the body into a solid balance point. Hands break down with leg drive and he gets on line early. Lower half usage is minimal for his size and there is more in there. Tends to stay tall and will lose balance after release, often falling to the first base side.
Arm Action: . Quick arm with some whip from a 3/4 slot. Shows recoil after the throw.
FB: T82, 79-82 mph. Fastball shows some ride with moderate arm side movement. T2052, 1968 average rpm.
CB: 64-66 mph. Curveball shows modest depth with some sweep. T1871, 1798 average rpm.
ATH: 8.09 runner in the 60. 1.87 and 4.38 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 17.20 max vertical.
Body: 6-2, 235-pounds.
Hit: Open stance with the hands starting above the shoulder and dropping below the shoulder line at launch. Uses a no stride approach, simply lifting the front heel to initiate the swing. Very rotational in nature and looks to create speed early, though the aggressive intent can make the move less controlled at times. Bat path works slightly uphill with a pull side oriented intent. Swings with high effort and looks to do damage, but the swing can get long and lead to inconsistent bat to ball skills. When timing and sequencing are right, the swing shows impact, but improving adjustability and letting the barrel work through the middle of the field would help cut down swing and miss and improve overall consistency. 65.7 mph bat speed with 16 G's of rotational acceleration.
Arm: INF-78 mph. Arm plays with versatility and shows the ability to throw from different arm angles. While not overly dynamic, the adaptability allows him to complete plays across the diamond.
Defense: At shortstop and first base, shows decent rhythm and timing with both footwork and glovework. Overall pace is slower, but there is some smoothness to the actions. Still developing defensively, but the foundation is workable.
ATH: 8.09 runner in the 60. 1.87 and 4.38 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 17.20 max vertical.
