5’11 140-pound frame. Lefty throw, righty hitter. Starts from a wide, square base using small rock back to load into back side while keeping bat flat. Heavy to front side, getting upper half forward in his swing. Middle approach that will start to drive balls as he gets stronger. Exit velo at 84 MPH. Uses a pro step from the outfield to help get direction going towards target and get 81 MPH throws.
Fastball up to 78 with angle and downhill plane. Controlled the strike zone and got swings and misses in the zone. Changeup was his best pitch at 72 MPH. Change had depth and fade, which hitters had a tough time seeing, swinging over top. The mound is likely where his future is.
