Hit: LHH. Narrow stance with an even base and a no stride approach. Hands start even with the top of the ear and drop below the shoulder line at launch, allowing him to get into a workable hitting position. Shows somewhat decent use of the lower half despite the lack of stride, though posture can break down as he gets into contact. Uphill bat path with an approach geared toward using the middle of the field. When posture holds, the barrel can work through contact and produce quality swings. Losing posture at contact causes inconsistency in barrel accuracy and limits repeatability. Staying more connected through the core and maintaining posture would help the swing stay on plane longer and improve overall contact consistency. 63 mph bat speed with 13 G's of rotational acceleration.
