Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-7, 162-pounds.
Delivery: Stretch only look where he comes to a good balance position. Hands come set at the belt line and raise with the leg lift. Glove will go out wide but works its way back on line to the target. Follows his throws down the mound, though he will fall off toward the first base side at times.
Arm Action: RH. Works from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. Arm speed is solid, not overly quick but not slow, and he shows enough consistency to repeat when his direction stays in line.
FB: T80, 77-79 mph. Shows a clean look through the zone with some life when located. Works best when he stays on line and finishes the pitch, allowing the ball to play to its intent. T2054, 1951 average rpm.
CB: 66-68 mph. Shows a tighter breaking shape with more depth. Can be consistently landed in the zone and gives him a reliable secondary offering to change speeds and eye levels. T1837, 1785 average rpm.
CH: 68-70 mph. Shows separation off the fastball with fade. Pitch plays best down in the zone and gives him another usable option to keep hitters off balance. T1505, 1350 average rpm.
ATH: 7.01 runner in the 60. 1.67 and 3.87 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-7, 162-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Slightly open stance with a balanced base. Hands are held close to the body and even with the top of the shoulder, creating a compact setup. Swing works on an uphill path with a tendency to work around the ball. Favors the pull side, but does a decent job engaging the lower half, which helps him stay balanced and produce firm contact when synced. 67.2 mph bat speed with 15 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 83.3 mph. 314' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-76 mph. OF-81 mph. INF: Some velocity is present, but the arm can seem to play below the number due to a slower transfer and release. Throws show minimal carry across the diamond and he struggles to adjust arm slots, limiting the overall effectiveness of the arm right now. OF: Shows arm strength with some life coming out of the hand and occasional arm side run. Keeps throws low and generally on line to the target, allowing the arm to play consistently.
Defense: INF: Tends to stop his feet on the approach and take extra steps before throwing, which slows the entire sequence. Actions are serviceable, but tightening up the footwork and speeding up the exchange will be key for the defense to take a step forward. OF: Movements in the outfield can get a bit jerky, but he does a good job maintaining momentum through the throwing motion. Athletic enough to make plays, and smoothing out the actions will help improve overall consistency.
ATH: 7.01 runner in the 60. 1.67 and 3.87 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.
Vizual Edge: 76.83 Edge Score
