Battye showed off some raw tools during the event. With an exit velocity of 87, he showed strength in the swing. Dylan stayed in his legs well, swing looked a bit mechanical, but he produced hard-hit balls, spraying the ball to the gaps in his BP rounds. At shortstop, Battye attacked the ball well and displayed an accurate arm with good range. Overall, Battye is raw but has the pure athleticism to compete at a high level.
