Barker passes the eye test on the mound, as the left-handed 2023 grad is built well at 6'3/200lbs. Barker delivers from an overhead arm slot with a long arm action. The lower half works well as he drives on line from his rear leg and releases everything downhill. Fastball had some run to it, and change-up tumbled into a left-handed hitter. Moving forward, Barker could benefit from arm action work; if he can tighten up his arm spiral and be more up-tempo, velocity should increase as he has the frame you look for in a good arm from the left side.
