This was our staff's first look at Khoo, at 2028 graduate out of the Whalley Chiefs bantam program. Checking in at 5-foot-7, 130-pounds, he showed well in his first showcase. With a nice swing from the left side, Khoo starts from an open stance with his hands up, creating a steep angle to the ball, yet he did a good job of elevating. He reached a peak exit velocity of 74.6 mph while managing to hit the sweet spot of his bat at a 73% clip. It has a chance to look good as he develops physically. Behind the plate he's got good actions and a quick transfer, getting the ball out of his hand in a hurry for a best 2.50 POP time and 62 arm velocity. Short of size and strength right now, there's a lot to like in Khoo's game.
