You could argue that Silverton had the best day of all the catchers at Vancouver FGT. A switch-hitting 2026 graduate out of the Abbotsford Cardinals program, Silverton checks in at 5-foot-11, 155-pounds and showed athleticism all day in the way he moved. At the plate he's got a solid foundation and good swing from both sides of the plate. He does a good job of repeating his swing and getting on-time, catching the sweet spot at a 70% clip while reaching a peak exit velocity of 80 mph and carry distance of 265 feet. It looked good in the box, appearing as though he could get his barrel confidently to either side of the plate. Defensively he was among the best, showing off his athleticism in bullpens with a POP time ranging from 1.99-2.25 and an arm velocity of 73 mph. Going into his senior year, Silverton will be a nice pickup for colleges come this Fall, and will only get better closer to college enrolment.

Silverton is gearing up to show off his tools at Delair Park, home of the Abbotsford Cardinals. One of the more well rounded players in the 2026 class in BC, he is a stand out athlete when he is on the field. Silverton can patrol the middle of the infield with good hands and footwork, but is a marquee catcher in the league as well. Excited to see Silverton showcase his off-season gains as he continues to grow and fill out.
