Ty once again had the big hit in the top of the fourth inning for Legend, staying on a Max Stanley breaking ball well and driving it to right-center field for a RBI double. Ty’s ability to stay on breaking balls and use the whole field while having the bat speed to combat 91mph on the inner half is extremely impressive. Couple that with the fact that he can flat out fly, and you have one of the best ballplayers in the state.
Uncommitted. 6-foot, 155 pounds. Bats and throws right. Lanky built with more power to come. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance, short stride, solid balance. Consistent hard contact during live round, worked on a line to both gaps, in rhythm. Exit velo was 82 mph off a tee, and we have had at 84 in past events, but swing played faster then that in live round. Showed versatility today by going to short, and caught. At shortstop displayed quick feet and very good range to both sides. Arm was strong across the diamond at 82 mph. Behind the dish has good lateral mobility and is efficient in blocking balls. On throw downs shows the ability to stay in the catching position, then displays quick feet in throw-down that is accurate to 2B. Pop-times had a quick release off a coach were 1.94 to 2.04 with arm velo of 74 mph.

Arm is short and accurate to the bag.
